Asp.net page speed optimization - Part 1

In this article, you will see how to optimize the web page, Performance and page speed is very important of your site when your site have too many visitors.

The following steps will optimize and speed up your web page:

  • Minifying html
  • Minifying JavaScript
  • Minifying css
  • Optimizing images
  • Spiriting images 

 

Minifying html:

  1. To minify html i have removed all the unnecessary java scripts in that page.
  2. Removing unnecessary css.
  3. Then compressing the whole html file by using the link.

 Minifying JavaScript:

  1. Removing all unnecessary JavaScript functions.
  2. Then combining all the JavaScript code in one .js file that is used by page.
  3. After that compressing all the script in the js file using the link.

 Minifying CSS:

  1. Removing all unnecessary css using plugin i.e. Dust me.
  2. Then combining all the css code in one style sheet that is used by page.
  3. After that compressing all the css  in the  css file using the link

Optimizing images:

  1. Compressing the images using adobe photo shop


Spiriting images:

  1. Combining the images in one sprite and compressing it again.

  3. Page speed.
  4. Y slow.
  5. Audit tool in Google chrome.
